Mycelium Coffin
This project was aimed at exploring sustainable materials for industrial design applications. In this project, my team and I explored the use of mycelium in order to create structurally sound, biodegradable burial vessels. I was in charge of product design for this project and created the molds as well as the final mycelium structure. This project really pushed my boundaries, and I learned a great deal about the boundaries of mycelium as a building material.
